The Correze is one of the three departments of the Limousine and is listed as department 19. The Correze  has some of the loveliest villages in France and also some of the oldest, amongst them, Segur le Chateau which is a village where Henri IV had a residence and is part of the Coeur de Lion  (Richard the Lionheart) route.

Troche Aerodrome

This is a private Aerodrome located just outside the village which welcomes private aircraft

Vigeois

A Roman bridged village where white water canoeing can be indulged in and has a superb fishing and swimming lake enhanced by its sandy beach and an excellent location for walking

Conceze

Located about 4 km from Arnac-Pompadour on the route to Objat, this village is famous for its flower festival held early in May followed a little later in the year its raspberry festival.

Arnac-Pompadour

The town is a centre for anglo-arab horses and has a wonderful race course enhance by the most amazing Chateau. Horse based events happen almost weekly from March till October with a variety of other events interspersed and Bastille Day fireworks are not to be missed.

Objat

This is a medium sized market town located approximately 21 km from Arnac-Pompadour, during the week cattle sales take place and on Sunday, the centre of the town is turned into an excellent open air market.
